Our Story
Two businesses that keep each other honest.
Trojan Construction & Investments is a commercial general contractor and a property investor. Those two halves are not an accident, and they are not separate. They keep each other honest.
When you own the buildings you put up, you stop making the decisions that look good on a bid sheet and cost somebody money in year seven. You specify the roof that lasts. You pay for the waterproofing detail nobody sees. You find out what a cheap mechanical package actually costs, because you are the one paying to run it.
That is the standard our clients get. We build for you the way we build for ourselves, because we have been on both sides of the contract and we know exactly where the corners get cut.
We started with one crew on other people's buildings and grew by hitting dates. Today we self-perform commercial framing, drywall, and interior finishes, take on ground-up work as general contractor, and develop and hold commercial property of our own, across the Kansas City metro and into greater Missouri and Kansas.

Every person on our site has stop-work authority, our field supervision is OSHA 30 certified, and subcontractors are prequalified on their safety record before they price the job.
